“And he travelled through Syria and Cilicia,
strengthening the churches.”
Acts 15:41
The Apostle Paul was concerned with the strength of the churches,
not just making converts. In September I shared what I believe
God is leading us to do: "Strengthen the churches". As we become
healthy and strong as a church, we will seek God and go to other
churches and assist them through God's word. Maybe God would
want you to be a part of this work.

Announcements for July 11, 2010
Yee-Haw - It's Time for Saddle Ridge!Howdy Cowgirls and Cowboys! Hang on to your hats, Vacation Bible School is this week from 6-8 pm. All children ages birth - 6th grade are invited to join us. We'll be Roundin' Up Questions and Drivin' Home Answers as the kids play games, sing songs, make crafts, and learn more about our Savior, Jesus Christ. Hope you can make it, partner!
Also, don't forget to join us on Sunday, July 18th for our special VBS program. We look forward to showing you all that we have learned this week at Saddle Ridge Ranch! Afterward, you are cordially invited to join us for a celebratory Chow-Down. The church will provide chicken, but we would love it if you could bring a side dish to share. And the best part! This year we are having a chili cook-off! So if you have a recipe that you would like to "wow" us with, please round it up and bring us your best shot! There will also be horseshoes and horse rides and more fun too!
Unique Opportunity To HelpWe have been given an opportunity to help Jim and Mo Marchetti in their unique ministry at Barre Baptist Fellowship. A box will be placed at the front of the church on the first Sunday of each month for collecting non-perishable food items such as canned goods, juices, spaghetti sauce, boxes of mac and cheese, etc. There is also a need for inexpensive plastic raincoats for those homeless and living on the street. Our church has supported their soup kitchen for several years financially. We now can have a hands on, practical way each month of giving back some of which God has so abundantly given us. If you have any questions, see Bev of Marty.
Donate And Help Our Children Attend Christian SchoolsIt's time to plan for the 2009-2010 Christian school year. If you would like to donate to the fund to help the children of ERBC families attending a K-12 Christian school, please see Marilyn Sargeant or Claudette Goad. Your assistance could make the difference in helping to make Christian education attainable for these families.
Fourth of July MusicalA choir comprised of folks from the area churches will be doing a patriotic musical, "Stars and Stripes Forever", led by Morris Howard, on the Fourth of July evening at 6 pm at the Baptist Fellowship. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 6pm at the Baptist Fellowship. Voices are needed for all parts... please join us!
Sunday SchoolDon't forget... every Sunday at 9:30 am we offer four Sunday School classes; birth-preschool, grades K-6, grades 7-12, and adults. We hope to see you there.
Church LibraryDon't forget that we have a wonderful church library upstairs in the copy room. Not sure which one to choose? Ask Ingrid and she would be happy to help you. The library also has some great movies and DVD selections. So, check out our wonderful reading or viewing from our library - and don't forget to ask Ingrid if you need any help.
