“And he travelled through Syria and Cilicia,
strengthening the churches.”
Acts 15:41
The Apostle Paul was concerned with the strength of the churches,
not just making converts. In September I shared what I believe
God is leading us to do: "Strengthen the churches". As we become
healthy and strong as a church, we will seek God and go to other
churches and assist them through God's word. Maybe God would
want you to be a part of this work.

Announcements for Sunday, September 9
Harvest Hayday: We are beginning to plan this year's Harvest Hayday. There is no date set yet, but we are planning for the beginning of October. This event is a new take on our past fall festivals, and will be a fun time for the entire church family. We have lots of fun stuff planned, but need your help to make it all happen. Contributions of the following items will go a long way towards making this event a success. We are currently looking for:
Shirts

Hay bales
Corn stalks
Pumkins
Tractor and wagon (for hayrides)
Volleyball net
Firewood (for the bonfire)
If you would like to donate any of these items, please see Jane McConnel.
