“The light in the valley”

“And he travelled through Syria and Cilicia,
strengthening the churches.”
Acts 15:41

The Apostle Paul was concerned with the strength of the churches,
not just making converts. In September I shared what I believe
God is leading us to do: "Strengthen the churches". As we become
healthy and strong as a church, we will seek God and go to other
churches and assist them through God's word. Maybe God would
want you to be a part of this work.

Monday night (June 30) at 6:30 p.m., all ladies, moms, and daughters are invited to join us for Ladies Movie Nights. We will start out with the Christy series - which some of you may remember from TV a few years ago. The movie nights will continue throughout the summer excluding VBS week and will be held at the church or the house across the street. Come join us for some great movies and popcorn!!

We will celebrate a baptism on Sunday July 6, following the worship service. In a word, baptism is identification. Acts 2:38 says "repent and be baptized". In baptism, the believer identifies with Christ and His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism is a way nin which the eliever poblically confesses Christ. If anyone would like to be baptized next Sunday, please contact Marty ASAP.
